Welcome to Jiggawatts, the only way a video game store should be. Located in Glens Falls, New York, this store is 100% family owned, funded, and operated. We have prided ourselves in being a non-corporate, counter culture store that will never force pre-orders or memberships.

If you could take 5 minutes to read this and then stop by to actually see it to believe it, it will become your only place to hang out and shop.

Beginning with our retail store, we carry all current titles for 360, DS, Wii, PS3, and PC.  Our prices are the same as every competitor and even though we’re family owned, we receive our titles on launch just like every big box.  The difference between them and us is that we care about what we sell. If a game is broken or not worth buying, we will tell you on the spot not to pick it up.

Because we’re a small store, we can’t carry a million copies of a launch title. Although the competition says they require pre-orders… they are lying. You’ve seen it yourself that they always have 20 – 30 extra copies. For a store like us, someone giving us their business and asking us to pre-order means the world. Therefore, for every 2 games you purchase through pre-ordering, you get an hour free in the lounge to say thank you.

If that’s not enough, we also will be throwing review / achievement parties. Unlike a launch party, a review party is for people who purchase the same game that has a following but not big enough for a launch party. From time to time these groups will be asked if they would like to play in the lounge for 3 hours for free with their purchased copy with all the other customers. This would be a way to join Co-Ops, rack achievements, or just review the game together and share your experience. This is absolutely free and another way we say thank you.

If your Hypercolor Shirt seems a little faded and worn down from the trials and tribulations of time, Jiggawatts is the only store that carries Jinx Gaming Shirts in the area. Due to a special pricing by our store, every T-Shirt from Jinx is only $15.00 (tax included) instead of $23.00 online. If we don’t have the shirt you want, you can put down $5.00 and add it to our monthly order, which will maintain the $15.00 price (only 20 slots available per month). You know what that means? It means no more Cheeto stained murals of famous faces on your apparel.

Aside from the store, Jiggawatts is the only place in the United States that has incorporated a full video game lounge that is equipped with state of the art systems, design, and customer care. Beginning with our 360 section, we have 10 Xbox systems that are equipped with Turtle Beach 5.1 Headphones, Samsung 24” 1080p monitors, and stock 60 GB Hard drives to save your progress. If you have your own Hard Drive or Memory Card, please feel free to bring it in and carry your saves from home to here. All Xbox systems are connected to our 15.5MB Internet connection. Upset about lag or don’t’ have a decent Internet connection, we have your covered.

Surrounding our Xbox zone is a collection of semi-private suites that for a couple dollars more house a 52” 120hz Samsung LCD TV, Sony 5.1 Surround Sound system, Theatre seating, and when combined your own little gaming Shangri La. The Mini-Suites are equipped with 360, Wii, Ps3, Blu-Ray player, and Comcast Commercial HDTV package. Aside from playing games you can watch movies, television, and sports games here without any hassles except possibly falling asleep in our chairs (yes… they are that comfortable) .

If size matters, than you may want to check out our theatre suite. Packing a 72” Samsung DLP 1080p Screen with a 500-watt surround sound system and enough room to play Wii, Rockband Beatles, and any game that requires some space.

If you either lack the movement of your opposable thumbs or would prefer jamming 20 keys at once, then PC is the place to be. Built on Intel Quad Core CPUS, Windows Vista 64, 4 GIGs of RAM and Nvidia GT250 cards, these pocket titans will crush our games on 1900x1200 visual settings while screaming in Latin “SYSTEM RAGE!!!”. With a total of over 60 PC games, Ultra fast web browsing, and YouTube /Hulu viewing glory… Our PCs will melt faces like a ’76  Zepplin Concert.

Honestly, I will just stop here and let you take this all in. Let it marinate for a little bit…. then stroll in and see all this with your own eyes. It’s the only way you’ll believe us.
